As people get older it seems to be harder to think of a birthday gift that will be well received – although men of any age seem to be difficult! Our personalised bone china plates are especially suitable as presents for 
the older woman: Mum or Granny probably will probably receive enough bubble bath stuff or various creams from other people; so consider one of our plates, particularly if this is an important birthday.
There are many designs and different plate styles to choose from – you can see them here. You can mix and match, any design on any style of plate; so if you like the pansies design on this page but prefer the plate with two silver bands, that’s fine.
The design and your wording are glazed onto the plate. The finish is similar to your dinner plug or coffee mug at home, and the result is permanent.
Our plates measure 8 inches/20cm in diameter. Technically we can decorate other sizes but the stands that hold the plates in our kiln take just the one size. A lined gift box is available as an optional extra.

Delivery: Your plate will be posted in 2-3 working days. We send by Royal Mail’s first class post but there is an option to choose 24 hour special delivery if you need it.

- The price of the basic plate is shown in blue. This will change if you add a gift box or a different plate style. To change your mind about adding extras just click on ‘Reset’.
- If you want a plate with a decorated rim (2 silver or gold bands, or a coloured rim) click on your choice in the first drop-down box.
- If you wish to add a gift box, click on the relevant line in the second drop-down box.
- Click on the design you want in the third drop-down box.
- Write the wording you want on your plate in the text box. We will layout the wording as in our examples, but if you wish to give us specific instructions you can do so by adding these in CAPITALS.
